Age Concern Birchwood & Risley

Age Concern Birchwood & Risley met every Thursday afternoon during 2005 in the village hall at Birchwood C E Primary School and thanks to the support from our members, we visited various places during the summer. Stratford upon Avon appealed so much so that we intend to go there again this year. New members will always be welcome at Age Concern Birchwood & Risley and we also welcome your suggestions for places to visit during this summer.  We can be contacted at the Community Centre, 62 Whitethroat Walk, Oakwood.

Our Annual Dinner and Dance was held earlier this year at Paddington House Hotel and the Committee and members would like to thank Birchwood Town Council who supported us with a grant of £600.00 towards this event. The DJ did an excellent job and a good night was enjoyed by members and guests.
