Birchwood in Bloom
Garden Competition 2001.

The Town Council will once again this year be operating its Birchwood in Bloom garden Competition. The competitions will again include all gardens (including Manchester and District Housing Association properties).

You are automatically included without you needing to make a special application. (However you will need to let us know if you wish a rear garden to be seen).

Our team of judges will monitor all areas and your gardens over the summer season and decide winners and highly commended gardens in August.

All winners and highly commended gardens will once again be invited to the Presentation Evening with Hot Pot Supper in November or early December 2001.

The 2001 Competition Categories will be:

Best Garden -

  • Gorse Covert

  • Locking Stumps

  • Oakwood

Best School

Best Commercial Property
